SENIOR DIGITAL STRATEGIST – OGILVY 360 DIGITAL INFLUENCE

We’re looking for an experienced (two to three years) digital and social media professional who acquires, develops and grows accounts. The successful candidate will be an expert at evaluating a client situation and developing a comprehensive digital and social media strategy. The ideal candidate, will have a strong Business to Business (B2B) background in enterprise technology; someone who understands and is comfortable talking technology in categories that include collaboration software, enterprise storage, enterprise applications, servers, cloud and much more.

This individual must appreciate the B2B sales cycle, including CRM, lead generation and fulfilment on the client side, and build social media campaigns that take advantage of those social channels. He/she understands business objectives and knows how to create a complete program to fulfil those goals and be fluent in all aspects of social media. It goes without saying that this person can form strong client relationships, whilst also managing a number of accounts and internal programmes independently, with little or no supervision from the Digital Director.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a team of strategists & digital analysts
  • Lead new business development
  • Help deliver internal training and skill up the core team
  • Project management; able to run projects on time and within budget
  • Provide immediate/timely counsel for internal teams and clients
  • Deliver client value through “great” strategic ideas and programs
  • Support the new business pursuits of the team
  • Blogging
  • Spokesperson at conferences
  • Run client workshops

To be successful with your application for this role YOU MUST have expertise in:

  • Radian6 and other social media monitoring services
  • Influencer relations and outreach
  • Social networks
  • Microcasting (video sharing, live streaming and podcasting)
  • Social media measurement
  • Search visibility including multimedia
  • Social media strategy and implementation

SENIOR CONSULTANT/ACCOUNT MANAGER – HOWORTH

Outstanding opportunity – Working with an exceptional and innovative team

Leading Technology agency, Howorth, is looking for a dynamic Senior Consultant or Account Manager who will contribute to client planning and oversee execution on a range of major brands in the technology sector.

The role is varied and requires a switched on PR practitioner who can take responsibility for the accounts she/he manages, providing excellent client service and demonstrating high-level professional knowledge and skills, to get results that make a difference.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develops and manages PR projects/programmes including formulation, implementation, evaluation, budgets and timelines.
  • Is a skilled editor capable of directing the written materials of others.
  • Provides leadership in growing existing accounts by offering creative ideas and recommendations for new/expanded programmes.
  • Manages team members to maximise productivity and individual, team and financial performance.
  • Routinely contributes to the company’s performance and growth.
  • Provide support and updates to senior management on all accounts regularly.
  • Provide immediate/timely advice and consultation to clients.
  • Know the media – broadcast, online, print; communications counsel to client PR teams, spokespeople and internal stakeholders.

To be successful with your application for this role YOU MUST:

  • Passion for knowledge and the ability to take the news agenda and make it applicable to your client’s business – the ability to find issues to highjack and feed creative thinking process.
  • Proficiency in providing strategic
  • Have strong knowledge and understanding of the local and international media and industry influencers in her/his practice area and established relationships with senior journalists.
  • Have 3-4 or more years of relevant technology PR experience.
  • Can demonstrate that he/she is proficient in conceptualising media relations campaigns.
  • Knowledge of social media practices; although full training and support provided by our central social media capability.
  • Have a relevant degree or tertiary education
  • Previous PR agency experience in a tech area will be highly regarded
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and happy to share an opinion – we want people to contribute to the business not work in the business.
